"A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a type of matrix barcode(or two-dimensional code) first designed for the automotive industry. More recently, the system has become popular outside of the industry due to its fast readability and comparatively large storage capacity. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background." - Wikipedia 10/7/11 (For complete entry: Wikipedia QR Code Entry)

Create a QR Code:

Download a web browser extension that allows you to create a QR Code for any web page you have open in your browser. For Google Chrome, try QR Tag Extension from the Chrome Webstore or try Snap Maze QR Code Extension for Firefox. (Windows ONLY)

OR
Create a QR Code with Kaywa or any of the other tools listed in the "QR Code Creators" section below. Note that different QR Code readers are designed to contain different kinds of information: phone numbers, text messages, URLs, wi-fi network access, youtube videos, etc.
